Intermittent Fasting
There are different types of FAST. But the type I will recommend for Diabetics is the INTERMITTENT FASTING.
On a NORMAL DAY, your eating pattern should be 👇
BREAKFAST 8am-9am
SNACKS 11am
LUNCH 1pm
DINNER 5-7pm
But when you choose to do the INTERMITTENT FASTING,
This is how to do it 👇
FROM 6am-11am, you can take just TEA or WATER.
FROM 11am-7pm, you can have your MEAL ( Low Carb).
FROM 7pm-11pm, you can take TEA or WATER.
BENEFITS OF INTERMITTENT FASTING
👉 It stimulates brain function
👉 It increase heart function
👉 It increase fat metabolism which helps to promote weight loss
👉 It boost the immune system
👉 It helps to prevent cancer
👉 It improves glucose tolerance
👉 It helps to regulate blood sugar
👉 It helps with gut health
👉 It helps reduce oxidative damage and inflammation level.
It's recommended to do INTERMITTENT FASTING for a week or two every month depending on your health goal, but you may still choose to AVOID INTERMITTENT FASTING if
👉 You have a history of disorder eating
👉 If you prefer to eat more often
👉 If you are underweight
👉 If you have a medical condition that prohibits it.
